The american oak (Quercus coccinea) could be identified as a host-tree of Cerambyx cerdo in the NSG "Krägen-Riß" in Saxony-Anhalt. Several about 180 years old trees showed characteristic signs of the species breeding activities. A record of the rare longhorn beetle Trichoferus pallidus occured in the Ohrekreis-area which is the first for Saxony-Anhalt.
